Fete De La Musique Block Party

IN Situ x 144 x try - 2024 - Paris Jemappes Basketball Court

As part of the annual Fete de la Musique Festival in Paris, In Situ joined forces with the local collectives 144 and TRY who were hosting a block party on their neighbourhood basketball court. Our brief was to create an LED installation that would help illuminate an unlit court during the evening’s event. The design used the lines of the court as the basis for the LED formation, managing the logisitical challenge of suspending these lines above the crowd so the lines appeared to be floating.
